Vilanova i la Geltrú is a city in the province of Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain) with an extension of 33.5 km2 and a population about 60.000 inhabitants, is situated 40 km south-west of Barcelona; it’s known as an industrial city with marina tradition. Vilanova is a city of origins Greek, even if during the Punic wars became Roman; after was conquered by the Visigoths and then by Arabs.

Museu de Ferrocarril
A collection of old machines like trains, locomotives. This museum keeps an outstanding sample of the history of the Spanish railway from 1848 to the present days.

Museu Romantic - Can Papiol
It's a mansion built and furnished by the landowner Francesc Papiol in 1790-1801.

The Castell de la Geltrú
The Castell de la Geltrù it’s from the XIII century and was built on the structure of medieval palace. Today is a museum of medieval and Arabic art and also modern art.
