Barcelona is serviced by 3 airports, all having direct buses to Barcelona city center.

1) Barcelona - BCN (El Prat) – main airport, 10km from the city center (there are direct buses called “Aerobus” from El Prat to Plaça Catalunya in the city center - one way €5), you can also take the train from Terminal 2 (1.40€/way).

2) Girona – GRO (Costa Brava) – 91km from Barcelona (there are direct buses from Girona airport to Barcelona Nord, that takes about 1 hr 15min. (one way €12, return €21)

3) Reus – REU - 110km from Barcelona (there are direct buses from Reus airport to Barcelona Sants Station, that takes about 1 hr 30min. (one way €12.50, return €22).

1) From Barcelona airport (El Prat) to Vilanova i la Geltru

Check whether if you arrive at Terminal 2 or Terminal 1; there is free shuttle that connect the two Terminal.

By bus (From Terminal 1): Take the bus company MONBUS. The MonBus runs in both directions from the airport so make sure you get into the bus that is going in the direction you want.
The bus stop is on the right from the Terminal 1 (Arrival platforms 8, 9 and 10).
You should look for the MonBus (www.monbus.cat/index.php) bus indicating Vilanova in the monitor; the bus passes every hour at 00.40. The ticket is purchased on the bus (cannot be purchased in advance) and costs around 3,60 Euros. The journey takes about 1 hour; you must to stop Vilanova i la Geltrú - Estació: Pl Eduard Maristany.

Timetable:
Mon - Fri: departs every hour between 7.40 and 22.40
Sat: every hour between 8.40 to 10.40 and every hour from 12.40 to 22.40
Sun and holidays: every 4 hours between 9.40 - 21.40

By train (From Terminal 2): At the terminal 2A of the airport you will find a walkway leading you to the train station (Ferrocaril). Take the train to the next station El Prat de Llobregat, where you will change train. Go to the other platform and take the train that goes to the direction Vilanova i la Geltru or St. Vicenç de Calders.

From Barcelona City Center to Vilanova i la Geltru

If you are coming from Barcelona city center and not from the airport mentioned above, you have to take the train from either Passeig de Gracia or Barcelona Sants Station. Take the trains toward the direction of Vilanova i la Geltrú or St. Vicenç de Calders. The train runs 3-4 times every hour and takes around 45min. One way tickets costs around €3,00. (Please keep your tickets for reimbursements).

2) From Girona to Vilanova i la Geltrú

Bus stops are just outside the airport; and the bus take you to Estacio d 'Autobusos Barcelona Nord (the main bus station in Barcelona) in the center of Barcelona. The single ticket costs €12. and €21 for a return.Exit the station and go to the Renfe station Arc de Triomf. Take the train from Barcelona Arc de Triomf to Barcelona Sants. After take another train from Barcelona Sants for Vilanova i la Geltrú (direction St. Vicenç). The train runs 3-4 times every hour and takes around 45mins. One way tickets costs around €3,00.

3) From Reus to Vilanova i la Geltrú
There is a public bus that leaves from Reus airport to Barcelona. It leaves from directly outside the door of arrivals at Reus airport. It’s operated by the company Hispano Igualadina, and you can buy tickets in the ticket office in the arrivals terminal. The journey time is one and a half hours, and it costs 12.50 euros for a single ticket and 22 euros for a return. The bus travels to Barcelona Sants bus station. The time table is adapted to coincide with flight arrivals. When you will be in Barcelona Sants, take a train for Vilanova i la Geltrú (direction St. Vicenç). The train runs 3-4 times every hour and takes around 45mins. One way tickets costs around €3.00. (Please keep your tickets for reimbursements).

Walking Direction
(from the train station in Vilanova to the training venue, Moli de Mar)
1. EXIT the train station following the direction PLATJES* (beach)
*it is the back exit of the station (walk through the tunnel under the train tracks)
2. From the station, walk over the bridge to the direction of the beach
3. Take Carrer Canàries (Canàries Street) down to the direction of the sea until you reach Passeig Maritim
4. Turn left on Passeig Maritim until you reach the round – about
5. Cross the round – about and cross the small bridge towards the street going uphill (Passeig de Sant Cristòfol)
6. Take Passeig de Sant Cristòfol (200 m uphill walk)
7. You will see a green gate on your right with the sign “Creativity in mixed ability youth work”
8.   Welcome to your home in Vilanova!
